Service Formats

We're aware that "traditional church" services are fantastic for folks who are familiar with more traditional ways, but maybe a bit odd for newcomers, so we hold services in a variety of different styles. We're hoping they are relevant and easily accessible for all tastes - so do feel free to join us - and do give us some feedback if we don't quite hit the mark!

Our services are broadly split into 4 styles and we would really love to see you at any of these, so do feel welcome to join in as and when you wish!

Parish Communion

This service is is held in the church and is traditional in nature using a familiar pattern of worship found in many C of E churches. We worship the Lord in singing, prayer and Holy Communion and learn great truths from the Bible through a short sermon. The service usually lasts about an hour followed by refreshments.

Morning Worship

This service is is held in the church and is fairly traditional using a modern pattern of worship. We worship the Lord in singing, prayer and Holy Communion and learn great truths from the Bible through a short sermon. Usually our younger members are with us for the start of the service and then get creative in another area of the church. The service usually lasts about an hour followed by refreshments.

All Age Communion

This service is is held in the church and is fairly traditional using a modern pattern of worship. We worship the Lord in singing, prayer and Holy Communion and learn great truths from the Bible through a short sermon - usually with plenty of participation from the younger members! The service usually lasts about an hour followed by refreshments.

All Age Service

This service is held in the church and is intended for whole families and our younger members in particular! We worship God through singing and prayer and have a simpler (though no less profound!) teaching of the Word – usually with lots of participation from the children. This service is usually about 45 minutes followed by refreshments.

 WhizzBang!!

This informal service is held at the Feniton primary school on the first and third Sunday of the month. Click on the WhizzBang!! tab on the main menu for more!
