Feniton PCC treasurer Steve is undertaking a 250km cycle ride (20 June 2009) to raise money for a 17 year old lad David in Araripina, Brazil, to have a life changing operation.
The operation will give David a prosthetic hand after he lost both hands in an accident a few months ago. Steves friends and supporters are raising money for him to have the operation in France, England and of course Brazil. The sponsored cycle ride here has raised £900 and 3,000 Brazilian reais were presented to the Mrs V. Goiset (pictured receiving the money and a certificate from the PCC treasurer, Mr S. English).
